As you visit our clinic, the following is information that we would like you to know.

Phones

• Phone calls to the clinic are answered 24 hours a day. We have an answering service that answers our phones outside of our office phone hours.
• The hours our support staff is available to answer the phones are 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday (from Memorial Day to Labor Day, the phones are answered by our support staff from 9:00am to 12:00pm on Fridays.) Please note your appointment may be scheduled outside of these hours.

Appointment Cancellations

• Please note our 24 hour cancellation policy. Failure to notify MPR of an appointment cancellation at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled appointment time will result in a late cancel or no show fee which cannot be billed to your insurance company.

Insurance

• Understanding your insurance benefits is your responsibility. Although we verify your benefits for clinic purposes, it is vital that you also contact your insurance company and that you fully understand your benefits for outpatient mental health service. If your insurance company refuses to pay for your services, you will be held financially responsible.

Payments

• If you have a copay or if you are self-pay, that payment is due at the time of your visit.
• For payment, we are able to accept check, cash (we are not able to provide change), and Visa/MasterCard.

Waiting Room

• Note to parents: children 12 and under may not be left unsupervised in our waiting room.
• Out of respect for others, we ask that our clients refrain from cell phone conversations in our waiting room.
